Uh Oh!

I definitely didn't win any Mom of the Year award today! Sawyer fell off of our bed and landed with a thud on the floor. He wasn't hurt and only cried a few seconds. I think it scared the both of us more than anything. Every morning while we get ready for work, Sawyer hangs out on our bed. He has his bottle then plays with his toys. Will and I have been thinking for a while now that we weren't going to be able to leave him on the bed unattended for much longer. Well today was the day! Will left for work early this morning, and I was finishing up getting ready. I turned my back for a mere second to put on my jewelry, and I hear a thud followed by crying. I scooped him up and comforted him. I made sure he was alright and assured him everything was ok. He has a tiny bit of carpet burn on his forehead and nose, but no bruises. I got us together and we headed to my mom's where Sawyer was staying today. I called Will to let him know what happened. He kept asking me if he was alright. I assured him he was fine. My mom said he had a great day and acted like nothing ever happened. Sawyer is a tough kid! I'm sure this was not the last of the accidents he will have in his curious little life!
