I have been toying with the idea of starting a blog since before Will and I got married. Well, here we are coming up on our first wedding anniversary, and I am just getting started. Let me start off by saying that our lives are really not that interesting. We spend alot of time at home with our loveable dog, Scotch. I love to bake. I have small home-based business called Sweet Caroline's. Will enjoys working on his truck and playing softball. We also enjoy spending time with our families and friends.
Here's how we became "The Tevepaughs"....
It all started on New Years Eve 2006, going into 2007. Will and I met at a New Years party down at the Isle of Palms. We started dating in January 2007, shortly after New Years. We dated for almost 2 years before Will proposed to me the day after Christmas 2008. We got married 15 months later in April 2010.
What a whirlwind year this has been! We had a lovely wedding and reception, and a fabulous honeymoon in Mexico. The beginning of our marriage was definitely not what we thought it was going to be. I returned to work the Monday following our honeymoon and promptly lost my job...eek! What a downer! I spent the following five months interviewing and looking for another job. I finally found my current, awesome job in late August, and started work right after Labor day. My amazing husband was my rock and worked a ton of hours. He did all he could to keep our new family afloat. That was a rough few months! However, we got through it all and our relationship is stronger because of it. I didn't think our first year would have been the way it was, but I wouldn't have traded it for anything!

Congrats on starting the blog! I've been writing redheadrecipes.com for over a year now... I promise, it gets addicting! The best advice I can give is to stick with it! It can be very rewarding!! Good luck!
