Weekend on the Coast

Sawyer and I spent this past weekend at Edisto with my family. Unfortunately, Will was not able to join us. He was responsible for his Masonic Lodge's annual Boston Butt fundraiser. He had to cook all night Friday night in preparation for the sale on Saturday. We sure did miss him! Sawyer and I got down to the beach around 4:30 on Friday afternoon. It was very chilly and windy. The weather stayed like that for most of Saturday as well. We were not able to go out on the boat, but we did go to the dock to cook oysters. We also made our way down to the sand to put our toes in the water-- brrrr chilly! Sawyer was not a fan! Sunday morning, the sun was out, so we sat and played on the porch. We had a great time with my family and family-friends!
